Electronic treatments
Electronic treatments are given either where it hurts (TENS) or via stimulation of the spinal cord. The spinal cord is the main route to the brain along which all pain signals travel. Treatments for the spinal cord are thought to work by blocking or reducing pain signals before they reach the brain.
